A modular playground designed for Design Lab II by Marissa Tirone. A soft-play environment that re-imagines core landscape elements as giant, tactile objects that can be used by kids to assist in their roleplaying.

VISUAL RESEARCH

Visited the Strong Museum of Play at Rochester, NY. The Museum features multiple play points, interactive displays, and miniature versions of the adult world. And everything was brightly colored with soft and rounded edges.

SCRIBBLES & DOODLES

Each module is inspired by elements you find in the quintessential landscape drawing. Most indoor playground elements are a softer version of things you find outside.

ORTHOGRAPHICS

Used Illustrator.

BUILDING BLOCKS

Used Blender.

CONTEXT

Brought into a state of being by a child's imagination. Used Blender to set the scene, and Photoshop to illustrate interaction.
