INSPIRATION
We took inspiration from tableware and drinkware designed by Massimo and Lella Vignelli; from form to texture to colors.

ROUGH SKETCHES
Used Procreate to sketch some outfit ideas before we could go fabric shopping and learn how to sew. This allowed me to experiment with the form and what part would act as the top, sheer layer to give that layered glass effect.
BEYOND FASHION RIT
The Vignelli Center for Design studies sponsors an annual fashion event, Beyond Fashion. Everything is designed by local and RIT student designers.
The theme for 2024 was 'On The Table'.
"The 2024 Beyond Fashion event is titled ‘On the Table’, paying tribute to Vignelli designs that exist on the tabletop. This theme asks designers to leave nothing on the table."
